Jordan Witzigreuter also known as The Ready Set is an emerging artist that is new to the music scene and the crowded pop world. Despite only creating music for three years, the “Love Like Woe” pop star is quickly making a name for himself as a one-man band that crosses genres.
Beyond The Songs: The Ready Set
The Fort Wayne, Indiana native’s musical aspirations started as a side project, but quickly transformed into a full-fledged career. Jordan not only became a one-man entertainer, but he also became a one-man promoter as well. Using various online social medias like Myspace and Facebook, The Ready Set’s music fast became an online favorite. Jordan’s live performances and local tours grabbed the attention of a management company who wanted to expand his career further.
After continuing touring with a backing management, Jordan’s unique sound soon caught the ear of Pete Wentz. The Ready Set signed to a joint venture between Decaydance Records and Sire Records
Jordan started working on his debut album “I’m Alive, I’m Dreaming” right away and eventually created the hit single “Love Like Woe” with mega-producer J.R. Rotem. The album was released this past summer, but despite only having eight songs on the debut, The Ready Set plans on re-releasing his album with new songs. With a new U.S. tour this fall in support of his album, Jordan will continue to show why The Ready Set is bound to standout in the pop world.
