But some of the stuff people buy at celebrity auctions will make you raise your eyebrows, to say the least. The Huffington Post rounds up eight particularly strange—and often gross—items:
- Gum chewed by Britney Spears: $14,000
- A jar containing the breath of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie: $530
- A tissue used by Scarlett Johansson: $5,300
- A half-eaten order of French toast touched by Justin Timberlake's lips: $3,154
- A handful of Elvis’ hair: $115,000
- A signed pair of sweatpants owned by Gary Coleman: $400,000 (they were later found to be fake but Jimmy Kimmel bought them for $500)
- A lock of Justin Bieber’s hair: $40,668
- A half-eaten piece of Vegemite toast eaten by One Direction’s Niall Horan: $100,000
